The June issue of Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret magazine revealed that Kazune Kawahara and Aruko's My Love Story!! (Ore Monogatari!!) shōjo romantic comedy manga is getting a live-action film adaptation. It asks fans to look forward to "who will play most honorable man amongst men." Shueisha will reveal the film's cast in the July issue, on June 13th.
I’m super excited to hear this news as I’m currently enjoying the anime series. It really is one of the best Shojo series I’ve seen in quite a while. Only 5 episodes deep and I’m already a big fan. See Jovanni’s review here.

Takeo Gōda is a giant guy with a giant heart. Too bad the girls don't want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate. But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn!
The series also won Best Shojo Manga at the 37th Kodansha Manga Awards in 2013. Additionally, the series topped the list of Manga for Female Readers in the 2013 edition of the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! guidebook.
