The official Japanese website of the Ju-on horror film series has released a teaser trailer for the Ju-on: The Final film. The trailer notes that the film series has repeatedly earned first place from Japanese polls’ "Scariest Horror Movie Series." It also says that the new film will be the last.
No matter how many times I watch this horror series, it’s still terrifying and just watching the trailer, I get goosebumps all over. I really hope this last film will go out with a bang and cause fatal heart attacks (joke).

Airi Taira (20th Century Boys) will star in the film as Mai. In the story, she goes looking for her younger sister Yui (Nozomi Sasaki), a school teacher who disappeared during Ju-On: Owari no Hajimari while visiting the home of a truant student Toshio Saeki (Kai Kobayashi). Misaki Saisho will return as Kayako Saeki.
