During the Walking Dead Finale, AMC teased their new series Into The Badlands.
I like how AMC is trying different genres and giving it a chance. I'm familiar with Daniel Wu and his fluency of the English language. I have watched several of his China produced films but I believe this marks his first starring role in the U.S. (on a TV Show at least). He's a good actor and I'm very excited to see what this new show has to offer as I am a huge martial arts fan.
Per the official logline, “In a land controlled by feudal barons, Into the Badlands tells the story of a great warrior and a young boy who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.” Daniel Wu (City of Glass) stars alongside Emily Beecham (28 Weeks Later), Sarah Bolger (The Tudors) and Oliver Stark (My Hero). The series comes from Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar.
